Phlebologist Dr Nicholas Kemp has been visiting Toowoomba to run a monthly vein clinic since 2013.

Dr Nicholas Kemp has been a Fellow of the Australian College of Rural and Remote Medicine since 2000 and has worked as a doctor across Queensland - up to Cairns and across to Mount Isa, Goondiwindi and many places in between. So is well versed to understand the challenges many rural patients face in accessing continuing health care. We use a combination of telehealth as well as follow up care through your GP and return assessments at our clinic at a schedule that fits in with you in order to ensure that treatment has been successfully.

Who Do We Treat?
At The Leg Vein Doctor we treat the most severe varicose veins, including patients who have had a recurrence from surgical stripping.
We also see patients that have medical symptoms from their veins such as aching, restless leg, venous eczema and venous ulcers.
In addition, Dr Kemp can treat patients who may not suffer from any symptoms but still wish to be proactive in their approach to venous disease.
Our clinic also treats patients who are concerned about the appearance of the veins on their legs and would like to pursue cosmetic improvements.

All patients are seen exclusively by Dr Nicholas Kemp (Phlebologist) from the initial consultation, through all procedures and during a comprehensive final review. The clinic is not part of a franchise or group practice in which you may see a number of different professionals during your treatment journey.
Dr Nicholas Kemp visits the Medici Medical centre in Toowoomba on a Friday and Saturday, usually the first weekend of the month. For exact future dates please call or email.
Every procedure we offer is walk-in/walk-out. No hospitalisation or general anaesthetic is required and there is minimal discomfort as the procedures are non-surgical. This means you will be able to drive to your appointments and do not need time off work for recovery.
Dr Kemp can combine treatment approaches so that the underlying sources of any vein issues are eliminated and you are left with good aesthetic results.
Ultrasound scans and stocking fittings are performed at our clinic during appointment times. You do not have to visit elsewhere in order to prepare to be treated.
Medicare rebates are available for many consultations and procedures.
GP referrals are encouraged although they are not required in order to book a consultation.
